The Federal Capital Territory, FCT Police Command has debunked viral video of kidnap incident involving passengers of GIGM in Abuja.
In a press release signed by the Command’s Spokesperson, SP Josephine Adeh, there was no record of such incident in Abuja, therefore the story should be disregarded.
“This is to clarify that there was no kidnapping incident involving GIGM passengers recorded in Abuja contrary to some videos circulating on social media.
“The FCT Police Command is committed to the security and safety of all residents. For any emergency within the FCT, please call: 08032003913, 08028940883, 08061581938 or 07057337653”, the statement read.
